Let me tell you a little about myself. Currently I am in middle school and though I am THE youngest, I am happy to say I am NOT the shortest in my class. I love the stage. When the lights go on, the music starts, the excitement as I take a deep breath to start singing... I love it. I am based in Boston, Massachusetts, but my family and I travel to New York City for my training. It is so exciting being with all "my people." I have met some really cool teachers and kids like me who are trying their best to fit in and stand out all at the same time.

Another thing I really enjoy is playing volleyball. I am on a 13U team and it is my first year playing. I have gone from ducking out of the way when the ball flies towards me to diving for it. It feels pretty good being part of a team. The funny thing is, no one on my volleyball team even knew that I was an actor at heart for a long time. It's like two different worlds run side by side.

One thing both lives have in common is that everyone knows - and "AWWWWW" - loves my new Dachshund puppy, Remy. He steals hearts in New York and cheers on the girls at volleyball. Other than that I am your typical middle schooler but working hard, on acting, singing, dancing and schoolwork to be the best Jaclyn Jane Burns I can be.

Oh, one more thing.  I LOVE to sing in the shower.
